- Pop the popcorn using your preferred method, ensuring to remove any unpopped kernels.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until it's completely liquid, being careful not to let it brown.
- Stir in the cotton candy flavoring, mixing well. If using food coloring, add a few drops now and mix until desired color is achieved.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the freshly popped popcorn and mini marshmallows, then drizzle the flavored butter over them and gently toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the rainbow sprinkles over the mixture and give it a final toss to ensure even distribution.
- Scoop the mixture into bowls or create treat bags for sharing.
