  • 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast Make sure yeast is fresh and active.
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure butter is at room temperature.
  • 2 large eggs Use room temperature eggs.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir until it forms a soft dough.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch the dough down and turn it out. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape them into balls. Place in a greased baking pan.

  8. While the rolls are rising, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and fluffy.
  10. Brush with melted butter right after they come out of the oven for extra flavor!

Notes

Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes.
