  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese Mozzarella can be used for a slightly different taste.
Seasoning and Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Vegetables
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté them for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Cooking the Beef
  1. Push the veggies to the side of the skillet and add the sliced beef. Cook until browned and cooked through, around 5-6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Making the Sauce
  1. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add in the shredded cheese until fully melted and creamy.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, stirring to ensure everything is well coated with the creamy sauce. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm everything through.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy the rich flavors of your Classic Philly Cheesesteak Pasta!

Notes

If using leftover pasta, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently, adding a splash of heavy cream to retain the creamy texture. Experiment with different cheeses or add mushrooms or spinach for added flavor and nutrition.
