Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Using your hands or a fork, mix until thoroughly combined, but avoid overmixing.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  5. Spread ketchup over the top.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  2. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
