Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
- Add the eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix everything together gently; don’t overmix!
- Shape the mixture into a loaf in the middle of a greased baking dish or a parchment-lined loaf pan.
- Spread a generous layer of ketchup on top for that classic glaze.
Cooking
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Leftover Classic Meatloaf can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To freeze, wrap individual slices tightly in plastic wrap and foil or store them in a freezer-safe container. It can last up to 3 months in the freezer!
