Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix until evenly moistened.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, then allow it to cool completely.
Making the Layers
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in half of the thawed whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and chocolate pudding mix for about 2 minutes, until it slightly thickens.
- Pour this pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer, smoothing it out for an even top.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer.
Setting the Dessert
- Garnish with fresh berries or chocolate shavings, if desired.
- Place the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to set.
Notes
