  • 12 pieces slider buns Soft slider buns
  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced Tender, cooked chicken
  • 2 cups marinara sauce For richness and flavor

  • Salt, to taste For seasoning
  • Black pepper, to taste For seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Arrange the sliced cooked chicken breasts on top of the buns, then pour marinara sauce evenly over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the marinara sauce.
  5. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper for added flavor.
  6. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheesy goodness.
  7. Brush olive oil over the top of the buns for a crispy texture.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For a lighter option, use grilled chicken. Substituting chicken with eggplant or portobello for a vegetarian variant is also delicious. Let sliders sit for a few minutes after baking for easier handling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator or freeze before baking for up to a month.
