Preparation
- Prepare your ingredients: Start by chopping the chicken, carrots, celery, and onion.
- In a large pot over medium heat, combine the chicken pieces, chopped onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is lightly browned.
Cooking
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let it cook for about 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix together until just combined.
- Once your chicken and broth are done simmering, spoon small dollops of the dumpling mix into the pot. Cover and let them cook for about 15 minutes, until they are fluffy and cooked through.

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat on low heat, adding milk or broth as necessary. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
