  • 1 package crescent roll dough Make sure to have a refrigerated package.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Mozzarella, Cheddar, or a blend) Feel free to mix different cheese types.
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted) For brushing on top.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Can be adjusted to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional) Add for extra flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a lightly floured surface, pressing the seams to create a solid sheet.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheese over the dough.
  4. Add garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper over the cheese.
  5. Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough tightly while keeping the filling inside.
  6. Pinch the edges to seal the rolled dough and place it seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Brush the melted butter over the top of the loaf for color and flavor.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  2. Let cool slightly before slicing to enjoy.

Notes

For a pop of flavor, try different cheese options and toppings. Fresh herbs can enhance both taste and presentation. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
