Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually pour in the milk, stirring until the dough comes together. Be careful not to overmix!
- On a floured surface, turn out the dough and knead it gently. Roll it out to about ½ inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into squares (around 3 inches), then place a generous tablespoon of shredded cheese in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of each square over the cheese, pinching to seal it tightly into a bomb shape.
- Place the biscuit bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
- Brush the tops with melted garlic butter and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm. Enjoy the cheesy explosion!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 10-15 minutes.
