Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure your rolls get that perfect golden color.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until you have a creamy filling.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and lay it out on a clean surface. Gently separate the pre-perforated triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken filling at the wider end of each triangle and roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  5. Place the rolled crescent rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they’re spaced apart for even cooking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they’re golden brown and puffed up. Keep an eye on them to avoid over-baking!
  7. Once out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them on their own.

Notes

Leftover rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
