Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, ½ cup of cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the top.
Baking
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with side salad, garlic bread or dinner rolls. For drinks, iced tea or lemonade pairs well.
