Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until well combined and press into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Add the eggs, one at a time, blending until creamy.
- Gently fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon into the cheesecake mixture.
- Pour the cheesecake and apple mixture over the pre-baked crust, spreading it evenly. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the center is set and edges are lightly browned.
- Allow the cheesecake bars to cool completely before slicing. Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top before serving.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh apples and do not overmix the cheesecake filling after adding the eggs. Chill for a few hours or overnight before serving for the best texture.
