  • 2 fillets Salmon fillets (6 ounces each) Fresh salmon is best for this recipe.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Can substitute with other spice mixes if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 whole Lemon, sliced for garnish Adds a nice touch and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, ensure it's well-oiled.
  2. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and sprinkle Cajun seasoning generously on both sides. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-6 minutes without moving.
  2. Using a spatula, carefully flip the salmon over and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
Serving
  1. Transfer the salmon to a plate and garnish with lemon slices. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Substitute Cajun seasoning with your favorite spice mix if needed. Be cautious of overcooking the salmon for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
