Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove any outer leaves that are not fresh from the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into thick slices, aiming for about 1-inch thickness.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the cabbage steaks and sprinkle with salt and pepper, coating both sides.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Roast in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
- Sprinkle your choice of cheese on the cabbage steaks during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving hot.
Notes
