Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove any outer leaves that are not fresh from the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into thick slices, aiming for about 1-inch thickness.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the cabbage steaks and sprinkle with salt and pepper, coating both sides.
  4. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
  2. Sprinkle your choice of cheese on the cabbage steaks during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving hot.

Notes
