Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Place the ham on a roasting pan. If it’s bone-in, position it fat side up. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and black pepper. Stir until it forms a consistent mixture.
- Generously brush the glaze over the surface of the ham, ensuring that it gets into the scored areas.
Cooking
- Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Bake for about 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and baste the ham with the released juices. Continue cooking uncovered for another 30-45 minutes, basting occasionally.
- Once your ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C), take it out and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Serving
- Slice your Brown Sugar Glazed Ham and serve.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2-3 months. Reheat gently in the oven at 300°F (150°C).
