- Begin by boiling a pot of salted water. Add your noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the noodles are cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn it!
- Once the noodles are done, drain and add them to the pan with the garlic. Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated.
- If you like a little heat, sprinkle in the chili flakes and give it another toss to distribute the spice.
- Plate the noodles and top them with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For additional freshness, serve with a cucumber salad or crispy tofu. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat in a pan with a splash of water or broth to maintain texture.
