  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Using a spatula, evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over one side of each tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over the buttered side of two tortillas.
  4. Place the other two tortillas over the cheesy ones, buttered side up, and gently press them down to help seal the filling.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  2. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and the cheese has fully melted.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the tortillas carefully, slice them into wedges, and garnish with fresh parsley or Italian seasoning if desired.

Notes

Experiment with different cheese blends for added flavor. Add toppings like jalapeños for a spicy kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
