Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures that your chicken cooks evenly.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard mixture over them, making sure every piece is generously coated.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, slice, and serve.

Notes

For substitutions, use whole-grain mustard if Dijon is not available. Ensure not to overcook the chicken; check for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
