  • 8 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (ensure it’s alcohol-free)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for greasing the baking dish
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • optional fresh basil, for garnishing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil water in a large pot. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the cream cheese mixture and stir until the pasta is well coated.
Assembly and Cooking
  1. Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Pour half of the creamy spaghetti mixture into the dish and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  2. Add the rest of the spaghetti mixture and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  4. Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.

Notes

Substitutions: Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier option. You can add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
