Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil water in a large pot. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the cream cheese mixture and stir until the pasta is well coated.
Assembly and Cooking
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Pour half of the creamy spaghetti mixture into the dish and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add the rest of the spaghetti mixture and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.
Notes
Substitutions: Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier option. You can add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
