- In a medium-sized bowl or jar, add the rolled oats, diced apples, and cinnamon. If you're using honey or maple syrup, stir that in as well.
- Pour the milk (or your chosen non-dairy milk) over the oat mixture. Stir everything together to make sure the oats are soaked evenly.
- Cover the bowl or jar and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the mixture to soak overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
Serving
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If you’d like, add yogurt for creaminess, or top with chopped nuts, raisins, or extra diced apples. Enjoy it cold or heat it gently in the microwave for a warm breakfast option!
Notes
Store Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats in the fridge for up to 5 days. For a creamier texture, let the oats soak for a full 8 hours. Be careful not to add too much liquid to avoid soupy oats.
