  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if desired)
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preparation
  1. Begin by patting the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  2. Cut the chicken into uniform pieces if desired.
Coating
  1. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until it’s well-blended and smooth.
  2. Dip each chicken piece into the mayo mixture, ensuring that it’s fully coated.
  3. Roll each piece in the grated parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs until covered evenly.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spritz the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Place the coated chicken pieces in the basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  3. Air fry the chicken for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Check if the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for safe consumption.
Serving
  1. Once done, carefully remove the chicken from the basket and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  2. Enjoy your crispy masterpiece!

Notes

To make sure you get the best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crunchiness.
