Method

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing the chicken, bell pepper, and onion. Ensure they’re evenly cut for uniform cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breast with olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  3. After 10 minutes, add the sliced bell peppers and onions to the chicken in the air fryer. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Serving
  1. Once the chicken is golden and the vegetables are tender, remove the mixture from the air fryer. Serve hot with tortillas and your favorite toppings.

Notes

For substitutions, you can swap the chicken for sliced beef or shrimp. Be mindful of the cooking times since they may vary. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or frozen for up to 3 months.
