Preparation
- Start by gathering all your ingredients. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
- One at a time, lay a tortilla in the skillet and spread 1/4 cup of pizza sauce on one half of the tortilla.
- Sprinkle about 1/3 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. If using Halal pepperoni and diced bell peppers, layer those on top.
- Fold the tortilla over to create a half-moon shape. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla to the other side and cook for another 2-3 minutes until equally golden and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from the skillet and cut into wedges. Serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping!
Notes
Feel free to customize with your favorite toppings or vegetables. To maintain the delicious crunch, reheat leftovers in a skillet instead of the microwave.
